Hi, I’m Nicole

SPEAKER - ADVISOR - ADVOCATE

I’m a speaker & advocate with over 13 years of experience leading people programs in corporate and tech, with a focus on employee engagement and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion). I help organizations advance people centered programs in an equitable way, and I help women overcome barriers & setbacks to reclaim their careers and develop leadership skills to make it to the next level. I speak, train, and consult on many topics, including: DEI strategy, ERGs, inclusive leaders & workplaces, and being a Latina in tech. My content resonates with leaders, women, Latinas, Moms, and First Gen. My educational background is in Latin American Studies, and I have experience working in the US and Latin America.

My true calling is to be an advocate for women of color. Her Era is an idea that was born from a creative spin on my last name (Herrera). Like many women of color, I have faced bias, discrimination, and setbacks while navigating the tech industry and corporate America. It’s my life mission to change that for other women- to make space for “her era” and influence others to do the same!
